Chapter 1: Elixe's consequence

The four prisoners awoke on Elixe remembering nothing, Elixe was not very fascinating and contained both trees and grass and not much more then this. They were not very well prepared and recalled not their origins beyond the note left on Kreh, who was informed he'd been here before for violent outbursts when he was younger.

Karla said:

" Where are we?"

Lucia answered:

"I don't know, but this place is not very fascinating."

While it is not fascinating it is a place feared by many, as food is scarce and everyone feels tired, further the world of this place is full of monsters only each person can see and must deal with at the start of this "adventure".

Drake is the first to see one, he is imidiatly disturbed:

This monster stalks him and acts seductive and curious but only to cause him harm, she follows him around and he's creeped out, she punches him in the stomach, he isn't happy. He says:

"What did I do to deserve this?"

The others look at him in confusion, as they cannot see it. Lucia see's another, which she is terrible fearful of, because it doesn't do much but the following. While she stares at it in terror:

This is not seen infront of her but in her mind, it sits for a time and then she see's herself hovering infront of it, then its many tenticles peirce her appandages splitting them apart, she is but her abdomen and she tries to move her arms and legs but all she feels is her attempts to as it sits their barely moving. It feels horrible but she happens to like it.

These are not the conflicts ahead, rather they are the introduction to it.

Kreh see's several, he sees a babuchka lady throwing knives at him that he feels as they stab him, sharp pains in his body:
He see's balls with horrible sharp teeth, and they simply hover infront of him:

Then his vision becomes that of insects up close, and he concludes their are bugs in his eyes, none of these things bother him as none of this is going to bother those too far in these things already of mind.

He sees only the worst kinds of bugs you could imagine moving around the inside of his eyes like eye floaters and he's aroused by it.

Karla see's nothing, she is only here for the malpractice of her own choices and lack of recognition of what the right thing to do was, she is less of a concern then the jury and so is oblivious to these monsters and is creeped out by others fears and reactions. She says:

"What the heck are you guys talking about?"

After a few days this passes, the monsters disappear and they are left with nothing to do but wander and look for food, talk about very little as they recall not their past at this moment and form simple bonds based only on their personality.

Not much more occurs, they seek food when they find it and do little else but try to sleep to no avail and cannot do more then this, the only to get enough rest and is not effected is karla, but she too is bored. Their only other option is to draw on the trees and read what others have drawn before them.

They wonder why their here and those effected by monsters have far less motivation to do anything else but sit there and wonder why they feel like shit at times they feel better, eventually alot better, then slowly one by one, starting with Drake, then Karla vanish from Elixe.

Lucia and Kreh stay longer, they begin to feel bad again and they feel the same as before and long for something they do not know, the monsters come back and they face them as though they are a problem or they sit and deal with them as they bring up their darkest fears. Evetually they are both let out months and months later.

It was likely a very boring experience, but it is they who chose to try to stop their own issues only to then turn against it on purpose or not at all, as these were the differences of Kreh and Lucia. Kreh was the one to choose to go against his own promises and Lucia is the one to have been in an unfortunate circumstance involving the Lemurias flower, which often kills if not dealt with, its only option is to kill another and this can be used in two ways.

As this poem reads, the legend told before the flower surfaced for real in worse form then imagined:

It began as a flower-child
Buried deep in the earth
But after a long day of rain
And a warm summers night
The seed came to life
And started to grow
Slow at first , it poked
Its head out of the ground
And grew tall , thickening
Then the bud on its tip
Bursted into bloom, red
Were its bright petals
The blood rose bloomed
Alone at the top of the hill
In the black forest,
Balf On the edge of Lamoor
The baker's girl,
Alaina Then went for a walk
Into the Balf treescapes
Up to the top of the hill
To the blood flower she plucked it from
Its life roots, burst then The sky turned blood
And the voice of the flower
Spoke:"Thou shall die when
The color of my petals fade
And I turn black, withering"
Then all was restored
But the flower seemed
Slowly leaking its life
Alaina began to cry
She ran home, sad-afraid
Clutching the bloodrose
Placing it in a vase
She gave it water
She knew not what to do
Now she would die, forever
What was she to do
She took the vase
And left the village
Seeking the oracle
So she crossed lake
Malifi , and suffered
The price of the oracle
The cost of truth
Her finger would be cut
Or her hair torn off
This was Belma's wish
The oracle of truth
Her reasons , none knew
But her words were always
True. Alaina spoke her plea
Belma hissed at the flower
She then spoke:"Devils flower,
That is absolute doom. None
Have ever lived its withering
And none know of its goal
Thou will not survive this"
Then the oracle looked sad
For now was time for
Alaina To pay the price of truth
Alaina sobbed as Belma reached
For her poor fine fingers, sliced
The pain was most excruciating
And the blood was everywhere
Some found its way into the vase
And the bloodrose grew bright
Once more, the colors having
started to fade, returned to her
Both the oracle and the bakers
Girl were in awe. The blood rose
Alaina knew, she would have to
Feed it more, let it live its life
So she could live her's. So she
Stabbed the oracle in the back
Killing her, she took the flower -jar
And let the blood fill it up to brim
The flower glowed a brilliant red
Its petals perfect, no faults seen
She brought the plant back home
Leaving Belma's carcase behind
Alaina felt much guilt, but she
Wanted to live. She was not old
Her finger still missing, her pain
Both physical and mental, would
Soon fade with the day, that
Is what she believed, hoped
Days passed , the flower once
More began to fade away
And so Alaina knew what she
Would have to do , with the knife
She took another poor life
That of a starving man
Who had no home, no one would
Miss him. She knew it had to be done
But she still felt the pain of guilt
The nightmares appeared, insomnia
But too soon did the flower fade
Again. So she did what had to be done
And killed another , and another
All she could see was blood
And the flower remained alive
But Alaina was drowning in guilt
The fifth murder was a young child
This was her breaking point
Guilt overpowering survival
Alaina gave up, tired of murder
She took the vase, that clutched
The vile bloodrose, went back to
The woods of balf, climbed the hill
And sat down, waiting for death
Slowly the roses colors faded
And soon they turned black
The rose withered, shriveled and died
Then Alaina realized the voice had lied
For Alaina was still very much alive
She shrieked and cried, guilty killer
The sky turned black, the voice returned.
But only to laugh at her for hours.
Maddening, Alaina took her knife
Slit her wrists and played dead
Soon her life had faded, corpse
On the ground, she lay in oblivion
Then the hill swallowed her whole
Chewed her up and loved it all
Then all that was left, was a tiny
Seed, the same one as before
Waiting for a long day of rain
And a warm summers night

While the story tells the tale of a lie told from above, the reality it inspired was the truth it lied. Meaning while a flower like the poem could easily be solved by knowing the story, if one plucked the real flower that was made, it was they who began to wither and if they drew not the blood of other with its sharp stem they would surely die.

Once theses flowers grew a plenty, when the trees were illegal. It is after the trees were brought back, by the fire cult and many burnt did the Malum change and spread to flowers and this created the story of Lemurias flower, which is our tale.

As all four friends were reunited upon leaving Elixe, Lucia sustained by the blood she had collected, the flower rendering them to nothing at all, if they are to pass on from its curse, thus no repair left except in those wilted by its thorn. Meaning, while those Lucia kills can be brought back to life, if she dies, she cannot be brought back to life, her body gone somewhere no one yet knows.

And so we finish the story with the first technology, which is not the one that is meant to be...

As we will discuss this within a seperate blog post, where the reality of this flower is far more real then even the story or its own myth. As the Lemurias flower represents here several things regarding the spirit called Lalvalon and is depicted below with some shock:

This blog will deal with its full nature, of both light and darkness.
